The Service

Web4-u provides a service that allows Wales Tourism Businesses to:

• Add their Business Information to a new Pan-Wales tourism business database.
• Create a web site. By following a few simple steps anyone who can use a mouse and can type will be able to create a web site as good as a web designer.
• Fully control their web site. Control the content, pictures, text and design. The system allows you to update your own new web site created using web4-u anytime, in minutes and at no cost.
• Share information with other local tourism businesses.

If you wish to use the Service, you must firstly agree to these terms. By using the Service you are deemed to have accepted our terms.

What Are The Costs?

There are 3 levels of entry into the Web4-u network.
Please note: The costs detailed below will never rise at a rate greater than the Retail Prices Index

1. The Passive Level
   • Add your business information to the Web4-u tourism database.
   • Unable to Broadcast to other members.
   • Members may search for information to add to their own websites and choose yours. Though as most members will be looking for reciprocation exposure at this level may be limited.

   Cost: £0.00 (Free)

2. The Active Level
   • Add your business information to the Web4-u tourism database.
   • Broadcast to other members requesting so that that they can view your information and decide whether to import your information into their website. Maximum 4 broadcasts a year.
   • This option does not include creating a Website.

   Cost: £75.00 (plus VAT) per year

3. The Premium Level
   • Add your business information to the Web4-u tourism database.
   • Broadcast to other members requesting so that that they can view your information and decide whether to import your information into their website. Maximum 4 broadcasts a year.
   • Able to create a Website that is hosted on the Web4-u server.

   Cost: £120.00 (plus VAT) per year

Note: If you want the Web4-u team to add your information for you there will be a one off charge of £75.00 (plus VAT). If you want the Web4-u team to create a website for you using the free templates there will be a one off charge of £30.00 (plus VAT). Premium templates or bespoke work costs are variable and can be agreed with the web4-u team prior to any work being carried out.

Our Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of the users of Web4-u, and will only use information we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not share, rent, sell, or otherwise use any personal information you have given us to any third party without your permission, except when required by law, subpoena or other legal process or in order to protect the safety of the public. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. Since this policy may change over time as we modify or expand our services, we suggest that you check from time to time in order to understand how we treat your personal information. Your use of this website and its services constitute your agreement to the terms of our privacy policy.

If we decide to change those policies, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what personal information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. Your continued use of this website and its services constitute your agreement to any such changes. We will not collect any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. We will use this information in order to customize and enhance the services it offers its customers. Examples of such information are: name, age, gender, business, home or postal address, e-mail address, phone numbers, and travel preferences. We may share non-personal aggregate, or summary, information regarding its customers with partners or other third parties, but we do not sell or share any information at the individual customer level.

Registering A Domain

Members of Web4-u have the option of registering domains through our Domain Query Area. Once a request is received, please note that a registration can take up to 72 hours. The following shows the charges for registering a domain.

• UK domains ending in  .org.uk   .plc.uk   .ltd.uk   .co.uk
  Registration period : 2 (two) years registration
  Cost : £15.00 (plus VAT)
• Global domains ending in  .org   .net   .com
  Registration period : 1 (one) year registration
  Cost : £18.00 (plus VAT)

Limitation of Liability

By acceptance of these terms you agree that neither Web4-u, its employees, agents, licensors or contractors is liable for damages arising out of or in connection with our services or from any unauthorised access or alteration to the services (by a third party). This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business, revenue, anticipated savings or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of events or you have advised Web4-u of the possibility of such potential loss) or any indirect, consequential and incidental damages.

Furthermore you agree that Web4-u is not liable for the loss of services as provided by our service partners beyond our reasonable control. Every effort will be made to restore our services in the event of such a loss. Additionally you agree that Web4-u cannot be held responsible for the loss of any data or programs held on Web4-u equipment as the backup of such data is the responsibility of the customer unless a prior agreement is in place with Web4-u

Closing an account or package
(Cancellation and refund policy)

Your hosting package (Eg, Active Level & Premium Level) is paid yearly in advance.

Within 60 days of invoice date, you can cancel the hosting package and receive a full refund. After this date, the hosting is kept for the period of time invoiced and no refund is available. One month prior to completion of hosting (ie, expiry date), we will send you a renewal notice. Failure to pay the renewal will result in removal of hosting package.

Note 1: Once your domain has been registered, it is paid and kept in your name for the registration duration and is only removed on expiration. Unfortunately, no refund is available for this service.

Note 2: Once an email account has been requested and set up, it is available for duration paid for. A transfer of email accounts within domain name is available but no transfer is available between domains. Unfortunately, no refund is available for this service.

Whilst all information on the Web4-u generated websites has been supplied by users in good faith, Web4-u, cannot guarantee the information is accurate, and will accept no liability for error, misunderstanding, financial loss or other damage due to inaccuracy of description and illustration within these websites. Verification of the information published in these websites should, if required, be sought from the user or their representative who created the website.

Web4-u offers accommodation providers a advertising and booking service. Web4-u, are never party to booking contracts, and will under no circumstances become involved in correspondence about bookings.
